The Engineering, Maintenance, and City Planning Department of Baidoa Municipality is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of urban infrastructure, as well as ensuring sustainable and strategic city planning. This department plays a key role in shaping Baidoa’s physical environment, ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of public spaces and infrastructure.

Our work involves planning and supervising construction projects, maintaining roads, public buildings, drainage systems, and other municipal facilities. We also oversee urban planning and land use management to ensure orderly development, prevent overcrowding, and preserve green spaces and heritage zones.
